This album is a journey through dark, melodious caverns, with flickers of light only enough to guide your way through. But not out, never out of the darkness. Truly brilliant.

Third full-length LP from ASH BORER presents itself as the band’s most transcendent and powerful offering yet. Time-stretching enveloping vicious ambient otherworldly black metal this time produced by Randall Dunn, “The Irrepassable Gate” sees ASH BORER take their blueprint of virulent black metal artistry to a whole new plateau of invincibility.

Been enjoying Hidden History of the Human Race for some time and I finally gave this album a listen. Damn me for waiting too long to do it; I'd say it's just as good as their sophomore LP, but in a different way. No doubt it's clearly Blood Incantation, but you can see the evolution in sound between the two albums. A masterful work of atmospheric prog death doom that sits among the best of extreme metal. Absolutely incredible musicianship in a debut album. Buy this LP, support Blood Incantation. camelhouse7

This album is a wild and thrashing black metal beast. Less round, catchy and refined than 2019's masterpiece follow-up Algleymi, but why should I restrict myself to only one album of excellent Misþyrming? FlashMuc
