+heart wonderfull blend of black metal with experimental noise-esque aspects all creating a neat dark sound that is incredibly gripping and dark all the way through

xhrl_ This is highly experimental death/black metal. Although it is not as melodic as the other collaboration, I think I prefer "Sister Fawn" because of its unique aspects. The kettle drumming and sound bits form a driving, unrelenting sound-wall force. This LP picks me up like a big wave and thrusts me forward to wherever it is headed. There's no safe way to bail; ride it out or die. Pounding sounds abound. Favorite track: Litany Of Desire.

Nihilistless Plodding beats form a backdrop for the shrill brand of noise Merzbow is renowned for. It has a touch of structure, a little less jostling than a pure Merzbow release, and a little more noisey than the other Full of Hell & Merzbow release. But this is incredible. Favorite track: Litany Of Desire.
