This one is simple: this band FUCKING RULES and the way the mix groovy old school death metal with an atmosphere of ominous, impending world demise is just a beautiful thing to behold.
Favorite track: Beneath The Crypts.

Chthe'ilist are tight as fuck. They're also as close as we'll ever get to new Demilich material.
Favorite track: Passage Into The Xexanotth.

The only problem is that I want 10 more songs! Great work here. Their 2016 release was my favorite album that year. Still listen to it in 2018. When Chthe'ilist releases anything it should be an automatic purchase for any fan of metal.
Favorite track: Passage Into The Xexanotth.
The new CHTHE’ILIST EP “Passage Into The Xaxanotth” is a two-song EP to be released on 7” vinyl and digitally and marks the second 7” released by Profound Lore Records. It consists of the title track which is a new CHTHE’ILIST unreleased track that has its origins even before the “Le Dernier Crepuscule” sessions, the CHTHE’ILIST debut album that made a huge impact on the death metal scene in 2016, resulting in one of 2016’s most praised death metal monuments. The EP also consists of a cover of cult Swedish death metal band Crematory’s “Beneath The Crypts” (not to be confused with the shit band from Germany of course)

From Hamburg, Germany comes the gutsy indie rock of Deep Dyed, the perfect combo if confident guitars and soaring melodies. Bandcamp New & Notable May 28, 2023
