I wasn't sure if there would ever be a band who could fill the void in my life after Altar of Plagues called it quits. Bosse-de-Nage might be the one. Out of the gate, "At Night" is an exhausting, take-no-prisoners experience. One of the most aggressive songs I can think of. The rest of the album is left in its wake -- a long denouement that mixes blackened metal (scissor/blast beats and all) with a number of other influences, including early/mid 90s emo in Washerwoman.
Favorite track: At Night.
